Full Update:
There was an issue on the server this morning at 11:30am, which effected power to the motherboard. It wasn’t a power supply issue it was due to an “efuse” in the HP server motherboard. After discussions with HPE engineers the technicians at the data centre then took the drives and installed them into a standby server however there was an issue with remounting the drives. Currently the technicians are attempting another re install of those hard drives. This could take another 4 hours to complete. If that fails we will then restore the server from backup using Acronis bare metal restore.
This situation is extremely unfortunate and we understand the issue it has presented to our customers like you today.
Over month ago we started the process of planning and migrating our entire infrastructure from single-server point of failure to enterprise grade cloud hosting infrastructure to prevent these issues. We will be migrating all accounts over starting next week to this new infrastructure.
The datacenter has replaced the hardware. Disks are being remounted on new chassis.
The hardware is currently being replaced at the datacenter.
A power hardware failure is effecting server srv70. The server is currently offline.
