To setup your email account in Outlook 2011 for Mac

1) Click “Tools“, the click “Accounts“.

2) Click “E-mail Account“.

3) In the “E-mail Address” field enter your full email address.

4) Enter your password for the email account in the “Password” field.

5) In the “User name” field enter your full email address.

6) Select your server type, either POP or IMAP. Choose IMAP if you access the email account from multiple devices, eg your phone, tablet, other pcs.
You can also choose whether to use SSL when connecting. Using SSL will encrypt the password so ticking on “Use SSL to connect” can be safer if you are using a public network to access your email.

If you choose POP then use the following info for the Incoming and Outgoing server fields:

POP (without SSL)
Incoming server: mail.yourdomain.com
(Change the yourdomain.com to your actual domain, for example if your domain is webdesign.com.au then you would use mail.webdesign.com.au)
Incoming server port: 110
Outgoing server: mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing server port: 26

POP (with SSL)
Incoming server: srv.coastserver9.net
Incoming server port: 995
Outgoing server: srv.coastserver9.net
Outgoing server port: 465

Select “Use SSL to connect” if you are using SSL

If you choose IMAP then use the following info for the Incoming and Outgoing server fields:

IMAP (without SSL)
Incoming server: mail.yourdomain.com
(Change the yourdomain.com to your actual domain, for example if your domain is webdesign.com.au then you would use mail.webdesign.com.au)
Incoming server port: 143
Outgoing server: mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing server port: 26

IMAP (with SSL)
Incoming server: srv.coastserver9.net
Incoming server port: 993
Outgoing server: srv.coastserver9.net
Outgoing server port: 465

Select “Use SSL to connect” if you are using SSL

Note: You may need to click “Override default port” to change the port number to the correct values shown above.

7) Click “Add Account

8) Click “More Options

9) In the “Authentication” menu, select “Use Incoming Server Info

10) Click “OK
