Question: How do I setup my email account on my iPhone?

Answer: Assuming you have already created your email account in your cPanel, use these settings:

On your iPhone, in Settings, then Mail, Contacts, Calendar, tap Add Account, then select Other as the email provider.

(For this example we will user username@yourdomain.com.au as your email address, and yourdomain.com.au as your domain name. Please change these to their correct values when setting up your account on your iPhone)

My Email settings:
My email address: username@yourdomain.com.au
My email provider: other

Incoming Mail Server Settings:
Account type (POP or IMAP): IMAP
(It’s best to choose IMAP on your iPhone as it will synchronise to other devices that are also checking your email account – eg your laptop or desktop)

Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com.au
User Name: username@yourdomain.com.au
(Your full email address is your username)
Password: (enter your email address password here)
Incoming server port number: 143
Incoming server supports SSL? (yes or no): No

Outgoing Mail Server Settings:
Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.com.au
User name: username@yourdomain.com.au
Password: (enter your email address password here)
Outgoing server port: 26
Outgoing server supports SSL? (yes or no): No

If a pop-up window appears asking if you want to setup the account without SSL – Select Yes
